A Vehicle Purchase Muhurat is a Panchang-based auspicious time used for purchasing, taking delivery of or beginning the use of a car, bike, scooter or other vehicle. The timing is location-based because Sunrise, Rahu Kaal and the local Panchang day vary by city.
This calculator uses local Sunrise-to-Sunrise timing and screens weekday, Nakshatra, Tithi, Karana, lunar-month regularity and Rahu Kaal overlap. Tuesday and Saturday are excluded in the conservative automated screen. Movable Nakshatras such as Punarvasu, Swati, Shravana, Dhanishtha and Shatabhisha receive special preference, while selected gentle and quick Nakshatras are also accepted.
Rahu Kaal is removed from otherwise usable daytime windows. If a longer Muhurat crosses Rahu Kaal, the calculator splits the interval so the Rahu portion is not shown as a clean buying window.
