Astro Nilmani is an astrologer, author and astrology educator with 25 years of experience in studying, practising and teaching astrology.
My professional background is in electrical engineering. This technical background has strongly influenced the way I approach astrology. I prefer to study a horoscope logically, examine the connections carefully and explain the reasoning behind an observation.
My main area of work is a practical combination of KP and Nadi Astrology. I use relevant principles from both systems to study planetary connections, important life patterns and possible event periods.
My purpose is not to create fear or make unrealistic promises. I try to help people understand their horoscope in simple language so that they can approach important life decisions with greater clarity.
From Electrical Engineering to Astrology
My journey with astrology began from a genuine interest in understanding how planetary combinations may connect with human life and important events.
As an electrical engineer, I was naturally interested in systems, connections, patterns and logical analysis. I gradually began applying the same disciplined approach to horoscope study.
Over the years, astrology became much more than an area of personal interest. I continued learning, observing charts, comparing astrological principles with actual life events and developing my own practical method of analysis.
This journey has now continued for approximately 25 years.
Engineering and astrology are different disciplines. However, my engineering background helps me approach horoscope analysis with patience, structure and attention to detail. I do not accept a conclusion only because it sounds impressive. I prefer to examine why a particular observation is being made and whether it is reasonably supported by the chart.
My Approach to Astrology
I believe astrology should be explained clearly. A person receiving a consultation should not be left only with a prediction. They should also understand which horoscope factors were considered and why a particular period or possibility appears important. For this reason, I follow a transparent consultation method:
What I See – First, I explain the important planetary combinations, houses, significators and patterns that are relevant to the question.
Why I See It – Next, I explain the astrological reasoning behind the observation. This helps the client understand why a particular subject is becoming important in the horoscope.
Important Time Periods – Finally, I discuss the relevant planetary periods and possible timing of important developments.
This method helps make the consultation more understandable, practical and personal.
Astrology does not guarantee a particular event or result. It can offer an additional perspective, but important medical, legal, psychological and financial decisions should always include advice from qualified professionals.
KP and Nadi Astrology Method
My principal area of specialization is a practical combination of KP and Nadi Astrology.
In KP Astrology, I may study the relevant houses, significators, star lords, sub lords and planetary periods connected with a particular question.
In Nadi Astrology, I focus on meaningful planetary connections and the way different planets, houses and significations may work together in real-life situations.
I do not combine the two systems mechanically. I apply the relevant principles according to the horoscope and the question being examined. The purpose is to cross-check important observations and provide a clearer explanation.

Birth Time Rectification
Birth time rectification is one of my important areas of work.
Many people know their birth date and place but do not know their exact birth time. Sometimes the family remembers only morning, afternoon, evening or night. In other cases, the recorded time may be rounded or approximate.
For birth time rectification, I examine a possible time range of up to 12 hours and compare the possible horoscopes with two or three clearly dated major life events.
- Date of marriage
- Date of joining the first job
- Date of birth of the first child
- Date of a major accident
- Another important and clearly dated turning point
I use relevant KP and Nadi Astrology principles to identify the time that shows the most consistent connection with the available information.
The client receives a written rectification report, the most probable corrected birth time and a corrected horoscope.

Writing has been an important part of my astrology journey.
I have authored 13 books on different areas of astrology. These books are intended for students, learners and practising astrologers who want to understand astrology through practical rules and structured explanations.
The subjects covered in my books include areas such as birth time rectification, profession, marriage, childbirth, medical astrology, Vastu and other practical questions faced by astrology learners and consultants.
Writing these books has also helped me organize complex subjects in a step-by-step manner. My aim is to make difficult astrology concepts easier to understand and apply.
Astrology Teacher and Udemy Instructor
Along with consultation and writing, I also teach astrology. My courses are designed for learners who want to move beyond memorising isolated rules and develop practical horoscope-analysis skills.
I teach through structured explanations, practical examples and horoscope-based case studies. My teaching covers foundational concepts as well as advanced applications of KP and Nadi Astrology.
